• Hardiness: USDA zones 9–11. Can tolerate temperatures as low as 30°F (-1°C) for short periods but should be protected from frost.
• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to full sun. Indoors, place near a south- or west-facing window for best growth. Outdoors, provide morning sunlight and afternoon shade in hot climates.
• Soil: Requires well-draining, sandy soil or a cactus/succulent mix to prevent root rot. Adding perlite or pumice helps improve aeration.
